The home-based Super Eagles have been placed in Group D of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) alongside defending champions Senegal, Congo, and Sudan.
The draw ceremony, held on Wednesday night at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya, set the stage for the much-anticipated tournament.
This marks the Super Eagles’ return to the biennial competition after a six-year absence, igniting fresh hopes among fans and stakeholders.
Other Groupings:
- Group A: Kenya, Morocco, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia.
- Group B: Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic.
- Group C: Co-hosts Uganda, Niger, and Guinea, with two additional teams to be added later.
The tournament will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
