Roma legend claims Osimhen is set to join Juventus.

Roma legend Roberto Pruzzo claims that reliable sources have informed him Victor Osimhen will join Juventus in the summer transfer window.

Osimhen remains under contract with Napoli but has been on loan at Galatasaray this season after failed negotiations for permanent moves to PSG, Chelsea, and Al-Ahli last summer.

The Nigerian striker initially agreed to a €130m release clause when he signed a contract extension with Napoli in 2023, but that figure is set to drop to €75m at the end of the season.

Reports in Italy suggest Osimhen is among Juventus’ top targets for the summer, and according to Pruzzo, the move to Turin is already in motion.

“I know that Juventus’ next striker will be Osimhen,” the former striker told *Radio Radio* via *Sport Mediaset*. “A reliable source close to the Nigerian’s entourage revealed it to me in Florence. They are certain they will be going to Turin next year.”

Pruzzo, 69, played the majority of his career at Roma, where he won the Scudetto in 1982-83. He also played for Genoa and Fiorentina, retiring in 1989 with 133 goals in 331 Serie A appearances.

His bold claim about Osimhen’s future comes amid links to Manchester United and Arsenal. The 26-year-old has been heavily speculated to join United, while Arsenal have reportedly been ready to meet his €75m release clause.

As transfer rumours intensify, Pruzzo’s statement aligns with recent reports suggesting Manchester United might struggle to afford Osimhen’s wages. Former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson has expressed doubts about United’s ability to complete the deal due to the striker’s “enormous” salary demands.

Osimhen has been in impressive form for Galatasaray this season, scoring 22 goals and providing five assists in 28 appearances.
