Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) indicated that the naira strengthened slightly at the official market, with the indicative exchange rate improving to ₦1,420 per dollar from ₦1,420.5 per dollar on Monday, representing a 50-kobo gain.
As a result, the gap between the parallel market and the official rate narrowed to ₦70 per dollar, down from ₦74.5 per dollar recorded on Monday.
