Superstar footballer Neymar set to visit ‘miracle doctor’ in a bid to overcome his knee injury

by Admin

Brazilian superstar Neymar is reportedly turning to a so-called “miracle doctor” in a last-ditch effort to overcome persistent injuries and revive his fading World Cup hopes.

The former Barcelona and PSG winger has missed 89 matches since joining Al Hilal in 2023 and later returning to his boyhood club Santos earlier this year. Despite scoring 11 goals and providing four assists last season as Santos narrowly avoided relegation, long injury spells have kept him from making a consistent impact.

Determined to feature in what may be his final World Cup, the 33-year-old is seeking treatment from Brazilian physiotherapist Eduardo Santos—widely known as “Dr Miracle” for his unconventional recovery techniques used by stars such as Philippe Coutinho and Matheus Cunha.

According to ESPN, Santos is expected to take charge of Neymar’s rehabilitation once the forward undergoes a partial arthroscopic meniscectomy on his left knee.

Neymar remains Brazil’s all-time top scorer, surpassing Pelé in September 2023 with 79 goals in 128 appearances, but he has yet to feature in Carlo Ancelotti’s new-look national team setup.
