by Admin

A US-based Nigerian entertainer, Peter Okeke, popularly known as DJ Expression, has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest disc jockey set after performing for 247 hours in Texas.

He announced the achievement in an Instagram post on Thursday, revealing that he surpassed the previous record of 244 hours on Wednesday.

DJ Expression began his marathon performance at 8 p.m. on September 21 at NOSH Lounge in Texas, with an initial goal of 300 hours. However, fatigue forced him to stop at 247 hours.

“Listen, Houston! We did it. We finally broke the record for the longest DJ set ever in Guinness World Records,” he said. “I broke that record, but I didn’t break mine. I am tired, man! We started on September 21 at 8 p.m., and on October 1, we broke the record, setting it at 247 hours. The previous record was 244 hours, but we reached 247. I stopped there.”
