The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ghanaian official Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea to officiate the highly anticipated semi-final clash between Nigeria and Morocco at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The fixture is considered one of the tournament’s biggest matches, with a place in the final on the line as both sides push for continental glory. South Africa’s Zakhele Thusi Granville Siwela will assist Ayi Laryea, alongside Lesotho’s Souru Phatsoane and Mozambique’s Arsenio Chadreque Maringule.

Rwanda’s Samuel Uwikunda has been named fourth official, while VAR duties will be handled by South Africa’s Abongile Tom, Tunisia’s Haytehm Guirat, and Kenya’s Stephen Onyango Yiembe. The semi-final is scheduled for tomorrow at 9 p.m. Moroccan time at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
