Just in: ‘Osimhen agrees personal terms with Chelsea’

by Admin

According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Chelsea, as the London club seeks to secure his signature in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Blues are hunting for a clinical striker and are eager to sign Osimhen to strengthen their attacking prowess. Galetti revealed via Twitter that Chelsea is ready to activate Osimhen’s release clause after the 2023/24 season ends, estimated to be between €130 million. Negotiations are ongoing between Chelsea and Napoli regarding the payment structure.

Reportedly, Osimhen, Serie A’s top scorer last season, is keen to move to the Premier League next season, with Chelsea as his preferred destination club. Galetti stated, “Victor Osimhen is always a main target for Chelsea to strengthen their attack.”

Chelsea has struggled to score this season despite significant spending on players, emphasizing the urgent need for a reliable goal-scorer. Osimhen’s impressive goal record, including helping Napoli secure the Serie A title last season with 31 goals across all competitions, positions him as the ideal player to address Chelsea’s goal-scoring challenges.

The 25-year-old Super Eagles striker has already scored 13 goals across all competitions this season, and his arrival could represent a significant upgrade for Chelsea, offering a reliable long-term solution in attack.
