The Federal Government of Nigeria is preparing to send its first citizen to space, as announced by Dr. Mathew Adepoju, the Director General of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), during a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday.

Adepoju revealed that the FG has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Space Exploration and Research Agency to facilitate this historic mission. He emphasized that this collaboration signifies a major milestone in Nigeria’s 25-year journey in space exploration and promises new avenues for scientific research and technological advancement.

Further details will be provided later.
