American pop star Ariana Grande has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic Party’s candidate for the presidential election.
This announcement follows President Joe Biden’s decision to step down as the Democratic Party’s candidate on Sunday, endorsing Vice President Harris as the party’s flag bearer.
Sharing a picture of the President and Vice President on her Instagram story, Grande urged her followers to register to vote for the Democratic Party.
“Register to vote,” she captioned the photo.
According to The Hill, Kamala Harris has secured over a quarter of the delegates needed to win the Democratic Presidential nomination so far.
Meanwhile, former President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump has said Kamala Harris would be easier to defeat in the November poll than Biden.
In an interview with CNN on Sunday night, Trump welcomed Biden’s withdrawal from the Presidential race.
