Comedian Deeone has claimed that Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz is wealthier than Nigerian artists Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy combined.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Deeone pointed to Diamond’s extravagant display at the wedding of Priscilla Ojo—daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo—and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. Clips showing Diamond spraying $100 bills at the afterparty sparked reactions online.
According to Deeone, Diamond allegedly spent over $350,000 during his visit, including on spontaneous giveaways and high-end club outings.
He went on to criticise Nigerian artists, accusing them of being stingy and failing to follow through on their public promises—unlike Diamond, whom he described as generous.
“Diamond Platnumz is richer than Davido, Wizkid, and Burna put together. I didn’t believe it at first, but this is not noise—we’re seeing the money. He came for Priscilla and Jux’s wedding and spent more than $350K,” he said.
However, Deeone’s claim has been met with scepticism, as many argue that the combined net worth of the Nigerian stars far exceeds that of Diamond Platnumz.
