Renowned for his controversial stance, the acclaimed singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, widely known as Brymo, has staunchly declared his firm resolve to abstain from affiliating with the record labels of his fellow industry giants, namely Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy.
Despite the esteemed status of Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy as the foremost luminaries in the realm of Afrobeats, Brymo has adamantly expressed his preference to unequivocally eschew any professional ties with their respective labels, asserting that he would, without hesitation, choose damnation over such collaborations.
Making his convictions known during a guest appearance on the latest installment of the Bae U Barbie show, titled ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ Brymo adamantly asserted his supremacy in vocal prowess and songwriting prowess, boldly proclaiming, “I am the finest vocalist on the continent. I am better than anybody on the continent. I am a better songwriter, I’m the best.”
In a resolute reaffirmation of his stance, Brymo emphasized his aversion to aligning with the likes of Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy, declaring, “I would rather go to hell than sign to Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy.”
