Elon Musk, the renowned CEO of Tesla and prominent figure in the tech industry, has entered the fray against Brazilian judge Alexandre De Moraes, adamantly calling for his immediate resignation. Musk made his stance clear on Sunday through a post on his widely followed Twitter account, which is now hosted on the X platform.
The timing of Musk’s statement coincides with a period of heightened tensions between the Brazilian government and various social media platforms, particularly regarding issues surrounding censorship and the protection of freedom of expression.
In a bold and direct message, Musk publicly rebuked Judge De Moraes, asserting, “In the near future, X (formerly known as Twitter) will unveil all requests made by @Alexandre and highlight how these demands contravene Brazilian legislation. This judge has shamelessly and repeatedly violated the constitution and the rights of the Brazilian people. He must either step down from his position or face impeachment proceedings. Shame on you, @Alexandre, shame on you.”
