Social media critic VeryDarkMan has accused Ubi Franklin, manager to singer Davido’s wife, of being involved in an alleged scam.
In a video posted on Instagram, VeryDarkMan claimed that Franklin failed to honour a business deal with a man while using Chioma’s name. He alleged that the talent manager received N10 million from the man in June 2024 but did not follow through on the agreement.
VeryDarkMan shared audio recordings of Franklin’s conversations with the man and issued a 72-hour ultimatum for repayment.
He further revealed that he had previously reported Franklin for allegedly using Davido’s name to scam others.
Sharing the story, he wrote: “@Davido, I can’t understand how Ubi Franklin, a manager under 30BG, is out here $c@mm!ng people. I have reported him to you before. Anyways, Ubi Franklin, you have till Tuesday to pay up.”
