American pop star Lady Gaga has revealed that her mom introduced her to her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
In a recent interview with Vogue, the 38-year-old singer shared that her mom told her she had found a husband for her after meeting the 46-year-old Polansky. Gaga expressed surprise that her mom could find “the most perfect person” for her, saying, “My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have imagined that my mom… found the most perfect person for me?”
Lady Gaga confirmed her engagement to Polansky during a conversation with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics in July. The couple first sparked dating rumours after being spotted together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2019 and later confirmed their relationship on Instagram.
Though they reportedly separated for a time in early 2023, they appeared to have reunited by August of that year. They celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday in March with friends at Giorgio Baldi in California.
