Nigerian musician Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, has shared insights on why many artists miss their blessings.
In a post on his X account on Monday, Skales emphasized that determination is crucial for success. He pointed out that many artists lack patience and tend to give up just before their breakthrough arrives.
He urged artists to stay persistent: “Your music will take you places all over the globe. You just need to be consistent enough to see it happen. Most artists quit before the blessings show up. Keep going,” he wrote.
Skales also reflected on how his own life had been revitalized after his hit song Shake Body went viral again, 10 years after its initial release, following a dance challenge by Barcelona’s teenage star Lamine Yamal.
