NFL star Stefon Diggs has revealed that he and rapper Cardi B are expecting a baby boy.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, the New England Patriots wide receiver, 31, shared his excitement about welcoming their son. “It’s a boy. That’s enough for me,” Diggs said. “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”
During a separate chat with Extra, Diggs added that their baby is due “real soon,” saying, “It’s supposed to happen real soon, so wish us both luck.”
Cardi B, 33, first confirmed her pregnancy during a CBS Mornings interview in September, revealing that she and Diggs were expecting their first child together. “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” she told host Gayle King, expressing excitement about her growing family.
“I’m happy,” the Grammy-winning rapper said. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Cardi, whose full name is Belcalis Almánzar, shares three children — Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 13 months — with her estranged husband, Offset.
She also credited Diggs for inspiring confidence and emotional strength during this new chapter of her life. “He makes me feel very confident,” she said. “Feeling safe is feeling confident, feeling like you could do it. And it makes you feel like you could take over the world.”
