Those behind Moscow attack will face the music — Putin

by Admin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed resolute action against all those responsible for the egregious assault that claimed the lives of more than 120 individuals and left a staggering 140 wounded at the esteemed Crocus City Hall in Moscow on a fateful Friday evening.

In a somber national address delivered on the subsequent Saturday, Putin disclosed with palpable outrage that the perpetrators were apprehended in a daring attempt to flee across the border into the neighboring tumultuous territory of Ukraine. His tone, laced with indignation, made clear his determination to ensure that both the assailants and their backers faced the full weight of justice for their abhorrent deeds.

While unequivocally condemning the heinous attack, Putin took a moment to acknowledge and commend the valiant efforts of medical practitioners, military personnel, paramilitary agents, and ordinary citizens alike, who selflessly rallied to the aid of the victims and worked tirelessly to restore a semblance of calm amidst the chaos that engulfed the nation.

“It is with a heavy heart that I address you today in the aftermath of the brutal and barbaric terrorist act that claimed the lives of scores of innocent civilians—our own compatriots, including precious children, teenagers, and women,” Putin began solemnly. “Even now, our dedicated doctors are waging a heroic battle to save the lives of those gravely wounded. I am confident that they will spare no effort, exhaust every resource, to ensure the recovery and well-being of all those in need.”

In a poignant gesture of gratitude, Putin extended his heartfelt appreciation to the brave men and women of the ambulance and air ambulance crews, special forces units, firefighters, and rescuers, as well as to the countless ordinary citizens whose swift and selfless actions in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy undoubtedly saved lives and provided much-needed solace to the afflicted.

“To all those who have tragically lost loved ones, I offer my deepest and most sincere condolences. Know that the entire nation mourns with you in this time of profound grief. Accordingly, I hereby decree that March 24 shall be observed as a day of national mourning—a solemn tribute to those we have lost,” Putin declared, his voice heavy with emotion.

In a show of unwavering resolve, Putin announced a series of additional anti-terrorist and anti-sabotage measures to be implemented not only in Moscow and the Moscow region but across all corners of the vast Russian expanse, aimed at thwarting any further attempts to sow chaos and discord on the sacred soil of the Motherland.

“Rest assured, my fellow citizens, that justice will be served. All four direct perpetrators of this cowardly terrorist attack have been swiftly apprehended, and efforts are underway to dismantle the entire network of terror, from the lowliest foot soldier to the masterminds orchestrating these despicable acts,” Putin declared, his words resonating with steely determination.

“As we confront this grave threat to our nation’s security and well-being, let us not forget the lessons of history. Just as the Nazis once sought to subjugate and terrorize our people, so too do these cowardly terrorists seek to spread fear and division among us. But mark my words: they shall not succeed,” Putin proclaimed, his voice ringing with conviction.

“In our united resolve, in our unwavering determination, lies our greatest strength. Together, as one nation, one people, we shall overcome this trial and emerge even stronger than before. For in the face of adversity, it is the unity and resilience of the Russian people that shines brightest,” Putin concluded, his words a rallying cry to all who stood firm in defense of freedom and justice.
