Accused Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson allegedly threatened to take his own life rather than surrender after his father confronted him about the brutal murd£r.

The 22-year-old was recognised by his father in photos released by authorities on Thursday. When Robinson returned home, his father confronted him, and the suspect admitted to carrying out the sho0ting at Utah Valley University, according to sources.

Initially, Robinson refused to turn himself in, telling his father he would rather k!ll himself. His father eventually persuaded him to speak with their youth minister, who also works with the US Marshals Service fugitive task force. The minister contacted a federal deputy, and Robinson was later taken into custody by the FBI on Thursday evening.

Robinson, a former Utah Valley student, has been charged with aggravated murd£r and is believed to have acted alone.

Investigators also discovered disturbing Discord messages Robinson allegedly sent to his roommate after the sho0ting. The messages directed the roommate to recover a rifle wrapped in a dark towel and hidden in a wooded area near campus.

He also revealed he had changed his clothes after the attack, law enforcement sources said.

Officials added that Robinson had voiced his disdain for Kirk just a day before the shooting, accusing the conservative activist and father of two of being “full of h\@te.”
