U.S. Bombs 3 Iranian Sites, Joins Israeli Air Campaign

President Donald Trump has confirmed that the United States carried out airstrikes on three major Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan—aimed at crippling Iran’s nuclear programme.

Speaking from the White House on Saturday night, Trump stated that the operation was launched to eliminate Iran’s nuclear enrichment capability and end the nuclear threat he says the country poses.

“A short time ago, the U.S. military carried out massive precision strikes on three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime—Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump announced. “Everyone has heard these names for years as Iran built this horribly destructive enterprise. Our objective was the destruction of Iran’s nuclear capacity and the elimination of the threat from the world’s leading state sponsor of terror.”

Trump, who had repeatedly warned Iran to strike a deal over its nuclear ambitions, described the mission as a major success.

“Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success,” he said. “Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now choose peace. If not, future attacks will be even more severe—and far easier.”

He issued a stern warning: “There will be either peace or tragedy for Iran, far greater than what we’ve seen over the last eight days.”

Trump noted that more targets remain, describing the ones hit Saturday as the “most difficult” and “perhaps the most lethal.”

“If peace does not come quickly, we will go after those remaining targets with precision, speed, and skill. Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes,” he added.

Praising the U.S. military, Trump said: “There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight. Not even close.”

Earlier, on his Truth Social platform, Trump posted: “We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now out of Iranian airspace after dropping a full payload of bombs on Fordow. All aircraft are returning safely.”

“Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Trump’s move, calling it a historic decision. “Congratulations President Trump,” he said. “Your bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history.”
