Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised President Donald Trump following U.S. airstrikes on three major Iranian nuclear facilities, calling the operation a “very successful attack.”
“President Trump and I often say: ‘Peace through strength.’ First comes strength, then comes peace. And tonight, Donald Trump and the United States acted with a lot of strength,” Netanyahu said in a video address delivered early Sunday, shortly after Trump backed Israel’s military efforts against Iran.
His remarks came after President Trump confirmed on Saturday night, June 21, that the U.S. had carried out coordinated strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—sites central to Iran’s uranium enrichment and nuclear development efforts.
