President Bola Tinubu will host the victorious Super Falcons and officials of the Nigerian women’s football team at the State House in Abuja on Monday.
The team is expected to arrive in Nigeria from Morocco late Sunday night.
The players and officials are anticipated to receive generous rewards from the President in recognition of their achievement.
It’s worth recalling that Tinubu had approved the payment of the team’s outstanding bonuses and allowances ahead of Saturday’s final against hosts Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses.
The Super Falcons came from two goals down to secure a 3–2 victory, clinching their 10th WAFCON title.
