Saudi club, Al Hilal make €70m bid for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen

Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal has officially submitted a €70 million bid to Napoli in a move to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed the news on Thursday evening via a post on his official X account.

“Al Hilal has submitted an official bid to Napoli for Victor Osimhen as top target,” Romano wrote. “The proposal is worth €65m fixed fee plus €5m add-ons. The decision is up to Napoli now.”

This follows an earlier report from Wednesday, in which Romano stated that Al Hilal had already begun discussions with Osimhen regarding salary and personal terms.

According to the report, Al Hilal is prepared to offer the Nigerian international a €30 million annual salary. Romano added that Osimhen is high on the club’s list as their new striker target, and his €75 million release clause would not be a problem.

Osimhen, currently contracted to Napoli, spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, where he impressed with 25 goals and five assists in 29 appearances. He is expected to return to Napoli this summer, with his current contract running until 2026.
