Afrobeats star Wizkid has made history with all the tracks from his latest album, Morayo, occupying the top 17 positions on Apple Music.
This remarkable feat was achieved within just 10 hours of the album’s release.
Morayo, released on November 22, 2024, is a heartfelt tribute to his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.
The album’s lead single, Piece of My Heart, has already climbed to No. 4 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and No. 7 on the World Digital Song Sales chart. Additionally, Morayo broke Nigeria’s streaming records, with one of its tracks amassing 1.57 million Spotify streams on its debut day.
