Manchester United are reportedly considering a €40m-plus-Rasmus Hojlund offer for Victor Osimhen.
The English club have been tracking the former African Player of the Year, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray but will return to Napoli at the end of the season with a €75m release clause.
According to Calciomercato.com (via Football Italia), United are unwilling to meet Osimhen’s full transfer fee but are preparing a bid of €40m plus Hojlund.
In January, Repubblica reported that United had already shown interest in signing Osimhen during the winter transfer window, but he opted to stay at Galatasaray until the end of the season.
Since his loan move, the 26-year-old Super Eagles star has been in top form, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists in 19 Turkish Süper Lig matches. He has also netted six goals and registered one assist in seven UEFA Europa League appearances, bringing his total contributions to 20 goals and five assists in 26 games across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Hojlund has struggled during the 2024-25 season, managing just seven goals and one assist in 32 appearances for United.
