United and Juventus table €20m-per-year offers for Osimhen

by Admin

English Premier League side Manchester United and Italian Serie A giants Juventus are making strong moves to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window, with both clubs reportedly offering a €20m-per-year deal.

According to Turkish journalist Ali Naci Küçük, Manchester United have put forward a contract worth £660,000 per week to lure Osimhen to Old Trafford this summer.

Both Juventus and United have made offers amounting to £17.1m per year net, which translates to roughly £330,000 per week after tax—equivalent to £660,000 per week before tax in the UK—potentially making Osimhen the highest-paid player at the club.

With Manchester United looking to bolster their attack ahead of the new season, Osimhen has become a key target following underwhelming performances from Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, who have struggled to deliver consistent goals since their high-profile arrivals.

Osimhen, expected to part ways with Napoli, is now at the centre of attention as INEOS executives have reportedly already submitted their formal offer.

Reports from Turkey suggest Galatasaray are eager to retain Osimhen after a successful loan spell, but financial constraints may hinder a permanent move.

“There is a high possibility that Osimhen will say goodbye [to Galatasaray], but no final decision has been made,” Küçük stated.
“Juventus and Manchester United are clearly interested. Fenerbahçe explored the option earlier this season and again during the mid-season window, but talks didn’t progress.
Osimhen asked Galatasaray for €15m, while Juventus and United have offered a net €20m—around £660,000 per week.”

Since arriving on loan at Galatasaray at the start of the season, Osimhen has delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 29 goals and providing six assists in 33 appearances.

The 26-year-old currently earns a net salary of approximately €10m annually, though some reports in Italy suggest it could be closer to €11m. Galatasaray are covering €6m of his wages during the loan, with Napoli expected to pay the remaining balance.
