X suffers global outage, millions unable to access the platform.

by Admin

Microblogging platform X experienced a widespread outage, leaving millions of users across several countries unable to access posts.

The disruption first surfaced in the UK before spreading to Nigeria after 1pm, where users also reported difficulties logging in. In the United States, more than 42,000 users reported issues, while Japan recorded over 45,000 outage complaints. Similar problems were flagged in Canada, Australia, France, and Germany.

Many users said the site froze on the X logo or displayed an error message stating, “Something went wrong. Try reloading.” On the mobile app, timelines failed to load or appeared blank, although prompts to subscribe to X Premium remained visible.

The platform, owned by Elon Musk, has yet to provide an official explanation. Unlike other major social networks, X does not maintain a public system status page. However, its developer platform indicated that “all systems are operational.”

This incident adds to a string of recent disruptions, including outages last month and late last year, one of which was linked to network problems at Cloudflare that affected multiple websites worldwide.
