World Cup team elimination has officially begun at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with three nations already exiting the tournament after a series of decisive group-stage matches across different host cities.

Tunisia were the latest side to suffer elimination after a heavy 4-0 defeat to Japan in Monterrey. Their earlier 5-1 loss to Sweden left them with zero points from two games, confirming their early exit from Group F. With only one match remaining, Tunisia can no longer progress to the Round of 32.

Haiti also exited the competition following a 3-0 defeat to Brazil in Philadelphia. The Caribbean nation finished bottom of Group C with no points and a -4 goal difference. Their final group match against Morocco on June 24 will have no impact on qualification, as their elimination was already confirmed.
