In a tragic turn of events, Angela Gosser, a 56-year-old woman from Kentucky, unleashed a horrific shooting spree, claiming the lives of her husband and sister. Reports from the police indicated that Gosser drove to her brother’s residence in Jamestown on Friday, May 3, armed with a firearm, and forcibly entered the premises.

During the confrontation, her brother, 58-year-old Darryl Wilson, was present in the house and, as per a statement from the Kentucky State Police, he was armed as well. Authorities detailed that a violent exchange of gunfire erupted between the siblings, culminating in Gosser’s tragic demise.
Police reported that Wilson sustained severe injuries during the shootout and was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening conditions.
The extent of Gosser’s crime spree unfolded when authorities were summoned to conduct a welfare check at the residence of her sister, Jennifer Wilson. Concerned family members, unable to establish contact with Jennifer and anxious for her well-being, prompted the call to law enforcement.
Upon arriving at the home in Russell County, responders were met with a devastating sight. Jennifer Wilson was found seated in the driver’s seat of a Toyota Camry, her life tragically taken by apparent gunshot wounds to the head.
Investigations unveiled a chilling sequence of events: before the confrontation at her brother’s residence, Gosser encountered Jennifer Wilson and allegedly unleashed a barrage of gunfire through the car’s passenger side, ultimately leading to her sister’s untimely demise.

The tragedy deepened with the discovery that Gosser’s husband, Larry Gosser, had also fallen victim to the violence on that fateful Friday evening. According to reports from the Lexington Herald-Leader, Larry Gosser, a retired Sergeant with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, had dedicated 16 years of his life to public service before his untimely demise, as recorded in Wilson Funeral Home records.
Local law enforcement, speaking to WKYT, disclosed the heart-wrenching details of Larry Gosser’s final moments. He was diligently working on a tree on his property in western Pulaski County when his wife, Angela Gosser, allegedly opened fire, fatally striking him.

“Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones informed WKYT that the investigation into the tragic events is ongoing. Detectives are actively pursuing leads to uncover the full extent of the circumstances surrounding the incidents,” stated Sheriff Jones.
Larry Gosser’s obituary paints a picture of a man deeply connected to nature, with a passion for fishing and hunting. He cherished the outdoors, his animals, and, above all, cherished the time spent with his loved ones and friends.
As of now, investigators have not disclosed a motive for the killings, leaving the community and authorities grappling with unanswered questions amidst the tragedy.
