My performance was interrupted because of P-Square – Flavour.

by Admin

Nigerian high-life artist Chinedu Okoli, better known as Flavour N’abania, has shared a story about being asked to leave the stage to make way for P-Square’s performance.

Flavour recounted this experience during his appearance on the ‘In My Opinion’ podcast.

He explained that he started his music career as a choir conductor and drummer in church. However, meeting P-Square marked a significant turning point for him.

Flavour said, “I remember a day when P-Square had just released ‘Temptation.’ They were promoting a show, and the promoters brought them to City Centre in Enugu.

“I had already built a strong fan base at that venue; it was always packed every weekend, no matter what else was happening in Enugu.

“When the promoters brought P-Square while I was performing, the manager immediately said, ‘Hello, off that thing.’

“I turned off my equipment, handed over the microphone, and stepped aside. Then when Paul from P-Square picked up the microphone and announced, ‘This na temptation,’ the place went wild.”
