Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, widely known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has revealed that his only brother donated a kidney to him.
TG Omori shared this on Tuesday while discussing his health challenges.
In a now trending post on his official X account, TG Omori stated that the kidney transplant occurred on Monday, August 26, 2024.
“Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,” he wrote.
He also took to his Instagram story to share pictures of himself on a hospital bed receiving oxygen.
Captioning the pictures, he wrote: “Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
TG Omori had been away from the public eye for some time, sparking concern among fans.
