‘They say I worship the devil’ – Rema.

by Admin

Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has shared the wildest rumour he’s encountered about himself online.

The ‘Calm Down’ star revealed that being labelled as “a devil worshiper” was the most outlandish accusation ever made against him.

Rema discussed this during a recent appearance on the ‘Kids Take Over’ podcast.

When asked, “What’s the craziest, untrue thing you’ve seen online about yourself?” Rema responded with a laugh, “They say I worship the devil. It’s crazy. I didn’t respond because it’s not worth my time.”

He clarified that the symbols used in his artistic expression are rooted in Edo culture, not satanic imagery.

Rema also touched on his experience working with Canadian superstar Drake in 2020 for the song ‘Mention Me,’ which was leaked. “I’m honoured to work with a legend like Drake. I believe we can create a massive hit if we take the time to build something solid,” he added.
