Atalanta star Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the Serie A Forward of the Year at the prestigious Gran Gala del Calcio Awards.
Lookman will compete against Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, as well as AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, for the honour.
Atalanta has also been nominated for Club of the Year, while their manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, is a contender for Coach of the Year.
The Nigerian international delivered an impressive performance last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists across all competitions for La Dea. His hat-trick played a key role in their Europa League final victory over Bayer Leverkusen.
This season, the 27-year-old has already recorded eight goals and five assists in 14 appearances.
Lookman also finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings and is the frontrunner for the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.
Winners of the Gran Galà del Calcio awards, voted on by members of the Italian Players’ Association (AIC), will be revealed during the ceremony on December 2.
