American music superstar Beyoncé has given Kamala Harris her approval to use the singer’s song “Freedom” as the campaign’s official tune.
A source close to Harris told CNN that “Beyoncé, known for maintaining strict clearance guidelines around her music, gave quick approval to Harris’ campaign when they sought permission to use ‘Freedom’ on Monday — just hours before she walked out to the song.”
Earlier, it was reported that President Joe Biden will no longer run as the Democratic Party’s candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
The US president withdrew from the race for the November presidential election on Sunday. His announcement followed mounting pressure from Democratic colleagues on Capitol Hill, top donors, and Hollywood stars after a disastrous debate performance last month.
