Bayern Munich is close to completing a loan deal for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
According to reports from *BBC Sports* on Tuesday, the 24-year-old Senegalese forward is set to join the Bundesliga champions after both clubs reached an agreement, with German outlet *Bild* confirming the news.
Jackson’s omission from Chelsea’s squad in their Premier League clash against West Ham on August 22, 2025, as well as earlier friendlies against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan, has intensified speculation over his future.
The arrival of new strikers Joao Pedro and Liam Delap has further pushed Jackson down Chelsea’s pecking order, making a move away from Stamford Bridge increasingly likely.
Last season, Jackson netted 13 goals in 37 appearances, and he remains under contract with Chelsea until 2033. Across four seasons with Chelsea and Villarreal, he has recorded 36 goals and 14 assists in 100 appearances, with 48 wins, 26 draws, and 26 losses.
In the 2024–25 campaign, he contributed 10 goals and five assists in 30 matches for Chelsea, showcasing his attacking potential despite limited opportunities.
