Cristiano Ronaldo has declared himself the “most complete player ever” in football history.
In a recent interview with Edu Aguirre from El Chiringuito, the Portuguese superstar was asked if he considers himself the greatest footballer of all time. While acknowledging that fans may prefer Lionel Messi, Pele, or Diego Maradona, Ronaldo insisted that he is the most complete player in history.
“I think I’m the most complete football player that has ever existed. People could like Messi, Maradona, or Pele, and I respect it, but I’m the most complete. I’m the best player in football history. I haven’t seen anyone better than me in football history, and I’m saying truth from my heart,” Ronaldo stated.
Currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League (SPL), Ronaldo has won five Ballon d’Or awards and numerous major trophies, including the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.
The FIFA World Cup remains the only major title missing from his collection. However, he led Portugal to victory in Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League.
