Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has urged fans to be patient as the club’s new signings adjust to life at Anfield, admitting the Reds’ start to the season has been far from ideal.
Salah acknowledged that while Liverpool have added quality players to the squad, it will take time for the team to develop full chemistry on the pitch.
According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Salah said on Sunday, “I am not happy with this start to the season. It’s a tricky one for us because we have a few new players. They are very good signings, but they need time to adapt to the team. We just need time to adapt and learn each other’s games, and everything will be fine.”
Liverpool have had a mixed beginning to their Premier League campaign — displaying moments of attacking brilliance but struggling for consistency as manager Arne Slot works to integrate the new arrivals.
The Reds recently snapped a four-game losing streak in the league, with Salah netting his 250th goal for the club in a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on Saturday.
