Afrobeats singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known as Ayra Starr, has shared that she continues to live with her family despite her fame and success.
In an interview with Coco Jones for Rolling Stone’s *Musicians on Musicians* issue, she explained that her rising status hasn’t stopped her from keeping friends and family close. “When I go back home to Nigeria, I still live with my family. My brothers are always making noise playing video games. I still include my friends in my life—we even have a group chat where I ask for their opinions on what I wear. I thank God for my friends and family. Although sometimes it can get overwhelming, and I have to take a break,” she shared.
