American YouTuber Jake Paul admitted feeling fear during his fight with boxing legend Mike Tyson on Saturday.
Paul claimed victory over Tyson in a thrilling eight-round bout at AT&T Stadium, winning by unanimous decision. Reflecting on the fight, Paul said, “It was tough, like I expected it to be. He’s exactly what I thought—one of the greatest to ever do it. He’s an icon and a legend,” his voice a mix of relief and admiration.
The match drew a crowd of 80,000 fans, with Paul landing 78 punches compared to Tyson’s 18. The younger fighter threw 278 punches to Tyson’s 97, showcasing his dominance in the ring.
When asked why he didn’t go for a knockout, Paul explained, “I was scared he was going to hurt me. I was trying to hurt him.”
