A Nigerian man, Kingsley Ogbuji, has been promoted to Major in the US Army.
Sharing the exciting news on Instagram on Monday, July 1, 2024, Kingsley wrote, “To God be the glory, I am amazed.”
The presiding officer, Lt. Col. Bagle, congratulated Kingsley, saying, “Congratulations on your selection and promotion to MAJOR. It was an honor to preside over your ceremony, and I appreciate the opportunity.
“At this new level, more will be expected of you, but you will be prepared. Continue to strive for excellence.”
Ogbuji is also a volunteer for UNICEF USA and holds a Master of Arts degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
