Peller apologises for referring to Runtown as an ‘up-and-coming artist.’

by Admin

Popular TikToker Peller has publicly apologised for calling Nigerian Afrobeats star Runtown an “up-and-coming artist.”

During a recent livestream, Peller dismissed a co-streamer’s suggestion to feature Runtown, implying that the singer was not well-known or successful. His remarks sparked widespread backlash on social media.

Following the criticism, Peller issued a public apology, acknowledging that he was aware of Runtown’s music. He explained that he was too young to use a phone when the singer’s songs were dominating the charts.

Speaking during a livestream with Elizabeth Amoudu, he said, “When I was hearing Runtown’s music back then, I was too young to even use a phone. Peller never come town when Runtown dey Runtown. Please, forgive the poor boy. Let him breathe. God won’t shame us. I’m sorry, my brothers and sisters.”
