Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has blamed his ex-lover, Queen Dami, for hindering his chances of winning a Grammy.
Portable and Queen Dami, who was once married to the late Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Adeyemi, recently ended their relationship after a social media dispute.
In an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Portable hinted at a spiritual angle to their breakup. The ‘Zazu’ crooner revealed that he prayed to ‘ifa’ to remove any source of misfortune in his life, and soon after, his ex-lover left.
“She [Queen Dami] is one of the reasons I haven’t won a Grammy, despite all the effort I put into my music,” Portable stated.
He alleged that Queen Dami was unfaithful during their relationship, claiming she had sexual relations with other men. Portable added, “Whenever I date a woman who is loyal, I succeed financially. But if she’s unfaithful, I face setbacks. I would have won a Grammy by now if she hadn’t been in my life.”
