Super Eagles Experience Travel Delay in Abidjan
The Super Eagles faced a few hours of delay in Abidjan on Friday due to a change in their travel plans back to Uyo.
The team, led by Augustine Eguavoen, played against Benin Republic at the Felix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium on Thursday night, securing a 1-1 draw.
Initially scheduled to leave Abidjan at 9 a.m. local time, the team will now travel to Lagos first before heading to Uyo.
As a result of the delay, the players are set to skip training today.
The Super Eagles are gearing up to face Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo next Monday.
