UCL: PSG edge Arsenal 2-1 to set up final clash with Inter Milan

by Admin

Paris Saint-Germain have booked their place in the Champions League final after defeating Arsenal 2-1 on Wednesday night.

The French champions held a 1-0 advantage from the first leg at the Emirates and made it count in the return fixture. Arsenal had an early chance to equalise on aggregate, but Gianluigi Donnarumma made a crucial save to keep PSG ahead.

PSG opened the scoring before half-time, with Fabián Ruiz slotting the ball past David Raya. Achraf Hakimi then doubled their lead in the second half with a brilliant curling effort.

Bukayo Saka managed to pull one back for Arsenal, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome, as the Gunners crashed out of the tournament.

PSG will now face Inter Milan in the final on May 31 in Munich, after the Italian side edged Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate in a dramatic semi-final.
