“I’ll never accept any female award again,” says Bobrisky, blaming Eniola Ajao for his problems.

Embattled Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky has vowed never to accept any award or recognition meant for females, attributing his recent troubles to an award received from actress Eniola Ajao.

Bobrisky won the ‘Best Dressed Female’ award, which came with a ₦1 million prize, at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere in March 2024. Shortly after, he was arrested by the EFCC for naira abuse during the ceremony and sentenced to six months in jail.

After serving his sentence, an audio recording surfaced online, allegedly featuring Bobrisky admitting to bribing EFCC officials to avoid money laundering charges and claiming he served his term in a luxury apartment. The leaked audio sparked widespread controversy, leading to his re-arrest.

Now in self-exile, Bobrisky blames Eniola Ajao, stating that his problems began with her award. Reflecting on his ordeal in an Instagram story, he wrote, “My problem started when I collected the best dressed female award with ₦1 million prize.

“For my life, if I see an award for best dressed female, I go disappear from that location ASAP. Everyone knows I am a baddie with class, you wanna compete with me? Your mummy never!!!! But when the problem wan too much, make I run.”

At the time of this report, Eniola Ajao has not responded to the allegations.
