The Super Eagles and Super Falcons have been shortlisted for the Men’s and Women’s National Team of the Year categories at the 2024 CAF Awards.
The Super Eagles earned their spot following their impressive run to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year. Competing alongside them are the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire and South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
On the women’s side, the Super Falcons participated in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris but did not advance beyond the group stage. They will compete for the award against Banyana Banyana of South Africa and the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco.
The prestigious awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday, December 16.
