Three Nigerian music stars, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, and Davido, will be vying for the Artiste of the Year title at the 11th edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
Burna Boy, Davido, and Shallipopi dominated the 2025 AFRIMA nominations across Africa. Both Davido and Burna Boy earned five nominations each, while Shallipopi received four, including Artiste of the Year and Song of the Year.
Rema picked up three nominations, one of which is Artiste of the Year.
Ayra Starr, who was nominated in two categories, joins Burna Boy, Davido, and El Grande Toto in the Artiste of the Year category.
Global public voting will open on September 10, while the AFRIMA awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Nigeria from November 25 to 30, 2025.
