NFF declares the Super Eagles head coach position vacant

The Nigeria Football Federation has declared the position of the Super Eagles head coach vacant and now searching for a new manager following the expiration of the contract of Jose Peseiro last month.

In an advertisement on its website calling for applications, the NFF stated the prospective Super Eagles coach “must have proven experience at the elite level of football.”

It added that applications can be sent to the email – jobs@thenff.com or via the link – https//thenff.com/jobs/head-coach-of-the-senior-mens-national-team-super-eagle/ latest by 6 pm Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

With the departure of the Portuguese who led the Eagles to second place at the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, the Glass House is out shopping for a replacement

Jose Peseiro left in February after leading the Eagles to second place at the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The NFF will be looking to get a replacement soon before their next World Cup qualifiers in June.
