Chioma Rowland, the soon-to-be wife of music star Davido, shared how the singer surprised her with a bridal shower party. Videos of Chioma’s bridal shower surfaced on Sunday night, showing her narrating how Davido orchestrated the event without her knowledge.
She recounted how Davido tricked her into leaving the house under the guise of going for a dinner date, only to reveal the surprise bridal shower instead.
Chioma said, “Let me tell you a story. I know this is an event center, and David said we were going to eat. He was trying to figure out the exact location, and as we stepped outside, he asked someone a question. I told him, ‘This isn’t a restaurant. I’m hungry, I want to eat.’ Then, I saw balloons, and I just started screaming.”
Davido recently announced that he and Chioma would tie the knot on June 25 in Lagos. The singer sparked excitement on social media on Sunday with the release of his pre-wedding photos with Chioma, emphasizing that attendance at the wedding would be strictly by invitation.
