Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has died.
The news was confirmed on Sunday afternoon by his former spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu.
According to Shehu, Buhari passed away at a hospital in the United Kingdom earlier on Sunday.
Details surrounding the cause of death have not yet been made public.
