Donald Trump claims London Mayor Sadiq Khan is trying to enforce Sharia law.

by Admin

US President Donald Trump, addressing the United Nations General Assembly, falsely claimed that London’s Muslim mayor was seeking to introduce Sharia law.

In his speech, Trump repeatedly criticised the mayor, calling him “terrible” and saying London had “changed so much” under his leadership. He then added, “Now they want to go to Sharia law.”

The remarks came as part of a wider attack on migration and what Trump described as Europe’s decline. He argued the continent had been “invaded” by illegal migrants and warned that both unchecked immigration and Europe’s energy policies would lead to its collapse if nothing was done.

Trump also accused the UN of aiding these developments, alleging the organisation was “funding an assault on Western countries and their borders.”

Experts have dismissed his claims, noting that while the mayor is Muslim, the UK operates under secular law. Sharia law in Britain is confined to voluntary civil arbitration and cannot override national legislation.
